Why I Write & What Is My Process? | by Shannon

I actually never wanted to be a blogger. I wanted to be a “real” writer. You know, fiction, essays, articles.

Things that sounded “professional” to me last year.

So, I slaved over drafts of my novel and hit the forums to get some feedback because I didn’t have the slightest clue of what I was doing.

Little did I know, this would be the beginning of a new love affair with writing that has taken my hobby in a whole new direction.

“The House”, Kindle, i-Pads and Nooks…

In the next 3 months my second book, a novel, The House will be available for purchase. I say the next 3 months because in the vein of remaining honest, I am not certain what exact date this latest edition of The House will be available for consumers to purchase.

I must remain true to establish integrity. Integrity means more to an entrepreneur than gold.

And in working to publish The House I have become an entrepreneur.

Connecting with the godhead, that part of the divine that lives within all, the Imago Dei, coalesces the disparate parts of the soul, mind and brokenness of heart and spirit.

Writing or revising and editing this part of a story or novel can and often dispenses healing to the writer whose words later transmit this to the reader.

The writer undergoes a trial or test of sorts each time she or he sets out to craft a work.
