Write That Story

compass2For anyone who’s tried writing a story, but just can’t get it off the ground.
Or you’ve begun several, but don’t seem to be able to continue writing…

…perhaps you need a plan.

As a published author of two books–one traditionally published (Keeper of Secrets…Translations of an Incident)–the other digitally (The Road to Ibadan) I have found that having a map helps you write and helps keep you writing.

One simple way of planning your story involves looking at two parts: character and plot.

character= who the story is about.

plot= what happens to that character. Simply put–what is the problem your character faces. What is their dilemma?

To being mapping your story write 500 words about your character and their problem.

I’m eager to read what you’ve written.
